I KNEW there wouldn't be a shutdown. The left had to avoid embarrassment from not passing a budget for 6 months and seeing it happen because they failed. The right needed talking points and some kind of spending reduction to move forward with 'negotiations'. A big loss for the country, as the tenacity and courage to make AT LEAST a 1% cut in almost $4TRILLION of annual spending does not exist. What say you, citizens?
