Pres Talabani says he will not sign Aziz execution order: Vid: condemned to death on Oct 26th Any surprise here? Defying the Iraqi court's sentence, and for 'apparent' international calls for clemency, the 'normalization' of the Iraqi culture now sees fit in letting condemned participants in Saddam's reign of terror, over his own people and those he WOULD have conquered, be 'pardoned'. "I will sign no death sentence at all because as a social democrat, I’m against the death penalty.” Yes, I do wonder if this statement would have played the same tune if it was Saddam himself.
