The original article on Tea Party Nation offers the following: "The line we will see for the next few weeks is going to be that rhetoric and tone of the message from the Tea Party is responsible for this attack. The hard left is going to try and silence the Tea Party movement by blaming us for this."
Take heed and be aware these political tactics have no weight with the worldwide conservative enterprise any longer. On Twitter, while the left was hell bent on denigrating the entire 'right', those on the right with a conscience to do so were offering prayers and condolences.
At the same time, while offering vitriol as only the left can do - Here I'll say, 'Imagine replacing Gabrielle's name with Rush's, and let the leftist hate begin!' - fellow bloggers and posters supporting Tea Party efforts in general were looking for the facts in this story. Noting that the Pima County sheriff was taking aim at The Tea Party, but that 'journal' sites were on the offensive as well, making sure even the smallest details of this incident be blamed on and offered as reason to belittle and trounce the conservative movement, we look to facts of the event: The Media & The Shooter
And we look for the media reporting to show this as a targeting of a politician by deranged members of The Tea Party, not the leftist madman as the killer is showing us to be.
All this while we still pray for the victims and for recoveries, and for the families and loved ones that have in one instance had their lives changed forever.
